Description

All profit from sales is used to employ more women and to continue Sabbara’s work on female empowerment. Sabbara was established inside Syria in 2012 in response to the escalating war and it’s devastating consequences for families all over the country. Its aim is to train women in traditional skills, create a sustainable infrastructure for production, and develop an international market .

The Design

This is inspired by an ancient Mamluk embroidered remnant found in Egypt.

This is made to order. It will take two to three week to dispatch.

Materials: 100% hand embroidered cotton on heavy 100% linen with cotton pipping
